These Keto White Chocolate Pecan Fat Bombs are dairy-free, sweetener-free, and super easy to make!
Fat bombs are a popular addition to the low-carb or keto diet.
These tasty little morsels do double duty – they’ll round out your macros if you’re a little low on fats (it can be difficult some days to meet your fat percentage), and they are great at quelling cravings for unhealthy food or snacks.
They are also easy to customize, so you play around with flavors and textures to your heart’s content.
Fat bombs generally contain a combination of healthy fats, binders (such as almond flour), and flavorings. Sweet fat bombs may also have a sweetener added – such as xylitol or monk fruit sweetener.
Most fat bomb recipes are sweet (though certainly far less sweet than candy and chocolate), but you can also make savory fat bombs.
I prefer to make sweet fat bombs because this way I can use them as a ‘dessert’. I don’t eat them every night, but on those days when I am especially craving something sweet, I’ll grab one.
This particular recipe is quite a change from what I have done before. I didn’t know it was possible to make a ‘white chocolate treat that was also keto-friendly.
The key to the white chocolate flavor in these White Chocolate Pecan Fat Bombs is the coconut manna and vanilla.
ingredients for White Chocolate Pecan Fat Bombs
Coconut Manna?
Coconut Manna is also known as coconut butter.
Coconut butter is made from the meat of the coconut and includes the actual coconut meat. It can be eaten as-is. Coconut oil and coconut manna are not the same things.
Coconut oil is oil that is extracted from the coconut. It is a versatile oil that can be used for cooking, baking, and even as a natural beauty product.
Coconut oil is rich in healthy saturated fats, including medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which can provide a source of energy for the body and support weight loss. It also contains antioxidants and antimicrobial properties that can help protect the body against harmful free radicals and infections.
There are many ways you can enjoy coconut manna.
You can eat it straight out of the jar (my favorite), and you can warm it up and use it as a spread (excellent on low-carb scones or clean keto blueberry pancakes). You can also add it to smoothies, sauces, and dressings.
Here are several reasons why Coconut Manna can be a great addition to a low-carb or keto diet:
- Low in carbohydrates: Coconut manna is low in carbohydrates, making it a great option for those following a low-carb diet or keto diet.
- High in healthy fats: Coconut manna is high in healthy saturated fats, which are a key component of the keto diet. These fats can help keep you feeling full and satisfied, and can also provide a source of energy for the body when carbohydrates are restricted.
- Contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs): MCTs are a type of saturated fat that is easily converted into ketones by the liver, making them a great source of energy for those on a keto diet. Coconut manna is a good source of MCTs, which can help support ketosis and provide a quick source of energy for the body.
- Nutrient-dense: Coconut manna is rich in vitamins and minerals, including potassium, magnesium, and iron, making it a nutritious addition to the low-carb or keto diet.
Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter is a type of natural fat that is extracted from cocoa beans. It is the primary fat component in chocolate and has a rich, creamy texture and a mild chocolate flavor.
Cocoa butter is a keto food because it is high in healthy saturated fats, which can provide a source of energy and help keep you feeling full and satisfied on a low-carb or ketogenic diet.
Coconut Flour
Coconut flour is a type of flour that is made from dried and ground coconut meat. It is a popular ingredient in low-carb and ketogenic diets because it is high in fiber and low in carbohydrates, making it a great option for those looking to reduce their carbohydrate intake.
Coconut flour is also rich in fiber, which can help regulate digestion and promote feelings of fullness and satisfaction. Fiber is also important for maintaining healthy blood sugar levels, which is particularly important for those on a low-carb or ketogenic diet.
It is also gluten-free, making it a great option for those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. It is also rich in healthy fats and nutrients such as iron and potassium, which can help support overall health and well-being.
PECANs
Pecans are a type of nut that is native to North America. They are a popular ingredient in many keto-friendly recipes and snacks because they are high in healthy fats, low in carbohydrates, and rich in nutrients.
Pecans are a rich source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which can help to support healthy cholesterol levels and provide a source of energy for the body on a low-carb or ketogenic diet.
Pecans are also low in carbohydrates, making them a great option for those on a keto diet, as they can help to support ketosis and maintain healthy blood sugar levels. They are also rich in nutrients such as fiber, protein, vitamin E, and magnesium.
Pecans are also versatile ingredients that can be used in a variety of keto-friendly recipes, such as salads, baked goods, and desserts. They can also be enjoyed on their own as a snack or used as a topping for yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothies.
vanilla
Vanilla is a flavoring derived from the seed pods of the vanilla orchid. It is a popular ingredient in many sweet and savory recipes and is also a great option for those on a keto or low-carb diet.
While vanilla extract does contain a small amount of sugar, it is typically used in small amounts, which makes it a great option for those looking to reduce their carbohydrate and sugar intake.
Vanilla is a delicious and versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of keto-friendly recipes such as baked goods, smoothies, and desserts like fat bomb recipes. Its low carbohydrate content, rich antioxidant profile, and versatility make it a great addition to any keto meal or snack.
Well, it’s official, Clean Keto Reset and Keto Snacks and Drinks are out!! After two months of working on it for probably 80+ hours a week, I released my babies out into the wild.
I will be honest; I expected to experience relief and a sense of accomplishment, yet, I am sitting here more stressed out than before the E-books were out.
Why? Because getting them out into the world is just one part of it. Now I have to convince people to buy them. I have to prove to people that they are quality products.
I guess I knew this already, but people don’t like to spend money.
I love spending money, and my husband would tell you that I have no problem spending money. However, not everyone is like me
I created these E-books to help people who are struggling with their weight loss, having a hard time getting into the Keto diet, and want to become healthier.
I didn’t do them so I can make a fortune and go live in Hawaii or something. (Which would be nice though)
Anyways, they officially launched yesterday, and I need to slow my roll and give it time.
I understand why some people don’t like purchasing digital products because there is no way of knowing what is inside.
For example, if you go to Barnes and Noble, you can look inside the book before you buy it. Think of this recipe as a “look inside” at Keto Snacks and Drinks.
I created Keto Snacks and Drinks after my 30-day Clean Keto Challenge.
I wanted some snack options that were clean keto-approved, free of sweeteners, and not processed. The problem is those don’t exist.
After searching on Pinterest and Google and Instagram, I could not find any snacks that were Clean Keto approved! Everything I saw was either with cheese or sweeteners, especially any fat bomb recipe I came across.
Now, I get it; those recipes are meant to taste like a “keto treat” so that is why they have a ton of sweeteners and heavy cream in them, however, they don’t make me feel so great afterward.
I started thinking, and after discovering the unusual ingredient, Coconut Manna, which tastes sweet but has no sugar or sweetener in it, I created these White Chocolate Pecan Fat Bombs.
Yes, believe it or not, these fat bombs have zero sugar, zero refined carbohydrates, no dairy, and no artificial ingredients.
How do they taste though? They are freaking amazing!
Trust me, being the foodie that I am, I would never post a recipe to my blog that didn’t meet my standards for taste and quality. (they are pretty high because I am a food snob)
They are the white chocolate version of my Salted Fudge Fat Bombs minus the Pecans. If you haven’t tried the Fudge Fat Bombs yet, you NEED to. They are heavenly. Those are also free of sweeteners and Clean Keto approved.
My point in sharing this recipe is to tell you that you can still enjoy amazing snacks and “desserts” that are not only Keto-approved but are also free from dairy and free from any sugar or sweeteners.
I am also hoping that you will love these so much you will want to buy my Clean Keto Snacks and Drinks book that is currently on sale. (shameless plug)
Anyway, enough of that. Let’s get to the recipe!
